this 1 game is not the issue. 1 conference loss was never going to hurt our chances of hosting. its the fact that its the first conference game,and now this CCU team, plus a good Troy team/pitcher and no more real margins for losses. the league is much better this year in a 1 game view. the rest of the way will be a challenge to win every game.

It will take an epic collapse for the Cajuns not to host a regional. They’re not world beaters. They got humbled today, but 1 conference or (please no) series loss will not knock them out. Their RPI will be the strongest it’s been in a few years come that time of year.,

Now top 8 seed? Yeah. Can’t afford too many losses in conference
