Dont know about that, but we definitely need to get rid of the UL shrubs in that endzone.....thats where the nest is!

All kidding aside, looks like folks are really getting fired up 2008 Cajuns football. That crowd and all the goings on at Fan Day were "awesome"!

The USM Hattiesburg website shows their season ticket goal is 12,500 with a little over 10,500 sold to date. Didn't we sell almost 10,000 season tickets this year already, and that coming off horrible prior losing seasons? A big difference at USM is their students show up as does most of the town and they average over 25,000 (of course they have a winning tradition). This is UL's year to step up with a winning record, avg. attendance over 25,000 and a bowl game. Then, look out next year and in the future! This is a new UL!!

I am willing to bet that USM is not selling corperate packages like we have done this year in order to boost the numbers of tickets sold. If 75% of those season tickets sold actually show up for the games i'll be impressed.

PS If you read the Feinwog article in the USA Today about the UL media guide, please do not blame his use of "yoo ell ell" on the UL SID and UL AD. The choice to use that term for our university had to be his and his alone and has to be expected.

It's a damn shame an Advertiser reporter couldn't have provided this story to USA Today. Given the Advertiser's superb coverage of Cajun athletics here lately, it would have been light years better had it come from one of theirs instead of the p&g clown.
