Not a good look for Payton but at the same time that was a classless move from Crowder especially because he did it in the Knicks arena. I like how everyone is reacting like stuff like this wasn't a common occurence in the 80s and 90s.

Most posts weren’t showing the entire play like this clip. Elfrid and the Knicks were going to let the clock run out then this fool runs through Elfrid to steal the inbounds pass and tries to be pretty with a 3 point shot. Good job Elfrid, take him out like he deserved.

What a bunch of crap. In the old NBA they would have fought till the police showed up after that jackass pulling that steal+3 attempt. Elfrid had restraint if you ask me, he had the right loaded up at 0:14 and held it back. Calvin Murphy would have put Crowder in the hospital.
