Inside source spotted his car pulling up to Bayou Teche brewery a few minutes ago. Said he’s still having to sit in it, because they won’t open till 11, and even a bowl winning coach don’t get any special treatment.

Same source said he might be munching on some chicken cracklins he picked up on the way there.

I just got off the phone with my inside source. So while Coach Napier was sitting in his car waiting for Bayou Teche to open, he took a FaceTime call from McNeese’s AD. They discussed the possibility of Coach Napier taking the reigns of the program, but they couldn’t meet his demand of having a poboy place better than that overrated Darrel’s joint moving into Lake Chuck. That’s where the call ended.

He’s now having a Ragin Cajun on draft and eating a wood fired pizza.
