I'll go back to what Maggard stated awhile back, his rule is the same as Robe's rule. 1 year dismissal, return not guaranteed.

On the bright side, the season isn't over so this won't count in the Flumer Cup standings.
Listen flunkie, it is the Fulmer Cup!

He played a decent amount last year before he blew out his knee. He is a senior who has exhausted his eligibility. Ironically this happened 4/10 of a mile from the Lafayette parish prison. It sounds like the altercation might have taken place at the Jefferson street pub or very near by.

On the bright side as far as we know no weapons were involved. At least we were spared the comments about how in the old days guys just used their fists.

I heard the other guy received a shattered nose and his brain was hemorrhaging. And that he also had to be put into an induced coma. Supposedly started over a girl. Not a great way to spend Christmas for all parties involved.

In the case of a modern highly trained D1 football player, fists can be plenty brutal

What don’t know anything about what happened. I had the opportunity to visit with Allen’s Dad at a home game last year. If AA is anything like his old man, I doubt seriously this ___ whipping was without merit. Sometimes, a good ___ whopping is necessary. If someone disrespected or was inappropriate with his lady, or friend or family member, I hope he did whip the offenders ___. We need more ___ beatings in this world. Things were better when as whippings were common.

Unfortunately these days, a good ___ whipping is met with a firearm. I constantly tell my kids that it is no longer worth it. Retreat and live to be the good person that you are.
