Completely agree. I went to nearly every home game during my college days, a bunch at Blackham as a kid, and was a season ticket holder for a number of years after graduation.

It’s to a point now that I wasn’t even aware we had a game last night...and wasn’t the least bit upset that I missed it.

Hopefully something changes soon. My entire group of friends, the ones that used to be there with me, are all as apathetic as I am these days.

    Same sentiments.

My support for basketball ended 5 years ago. I saw no progress in the basketball program at that time. Need a change in command.

We need at least one assistant that Marlin respects and he's secure enough can push back on Marlin. Most of all we need a guy on staff who has deep AAU connections and can flat out recruit. Similar to what Rebowe and Leger are to football. Those guys can walk into any high school in Louisiana with little notice or introduction.
Somebody like Brad Boyd would fit this description

If I'm not mistaken Boyd said he wants to be HC of the Cajuns one day. Whether he's ready or not is a different discussion.

He needs to do the required work. Being a great or perceived as great coach doesn’t exclude needed steps.

Close to identical situation. Was about 8 for Lamar’s first season, Freshman for Toney’s Sr yr. attended most games. I only kept up with score last night periodically on ESPN app. Had high hopes for Big Fish initially as I casually followed when I was living in P’cola.

Sentiments have gotten so bad that Mike does not even try to defend him anymore. Let that sink in.

My 1st semester at USL was Lamar's last semester. Loved going to those games & during the Paschal years. Even liked a lot of the Fletcher era. I like Marlin, as l've said before, as a person. I was very hopeful for him, but l just haven't seen it happen. I agree with the majority - we need to move in a new direction pretty soon.
