However since you want to focus on regional appearances.

Louisiana has won 4 regionals or 44% of every regional they have been in.

Coastal has won 3 regionals, or 19% of every regional they have been in.

What accounts for UL's comparative regional success? Perhaps they were more tested in the regular season? I don't know.

Overall it demonstrates the power of 1 national championship.
They don’t play the sane set of teams in their regionals. Matchups are everything. And you are knocking their success by saying the only reason they are ahead of us is that one year. They are a more successful program over all. Stop with your silly ___. If somebody goes to one regional ever and wins it, they are now the best program bc they are 100%? That’s dumb..DUM dumb

Smallest possible sample size is dumb. We agree.

Your pointing out their opponents strength in their 16 entries, has more to to with automatic bids from untested regular seasons, than true success.

Still can't knock a national championship.

I've said many times when you are good you are good.

I've said The NCAA would fail to recognize the real MLB World Series Champion if they dressed out a season in a weak conference.

That does not mean Coastal's auto bids are what got their team ranked historically. Their NC is responsible for that.

Pretty sure the big south has sent more teams to the CWS than the sunbelt

You were wrong, you insinuated their championship put them above our decades of success, when in fact they have been more successful over the last 2 decades. You were wrong and won’t admit it as usual. You sound just like the people east of us when they say we don’t play anyone

Thinking Ga Southern went at some point. Don’t know what their conference was at the time.

    Side topics are cool.

Coastal has had 3 at large bids. Im sure some of the autobids might have been at large bids if not for the auto.

I’m going with Turbine here, they’re great but that national championship puts an extra glow on their overall, and that’s fine.

Well of course it does, maybe if we made the postseason 80% of the time like them we might have one already. We’ve missed 3 in row, they have missed 4 in 20 years

This is a discussion, nothing more.

    It's not difficult either.

Without UL's CWS appearance they would not be ranked where they are.

Without Coastal's NC they would not be ranked where they are.

None of these top teams are being ranked just for making regionals.

So clearly you didn’t actually read the article because you would realize they don’t care or take into account what UL did in 2000
