Honestly, that kid made that kick and the first thing I said quietly to the guy next to me was that it was longer than any field goal our team has made this year. That's the truth, I believe. It was uncontested, but it was still pretty funny.

The field goal game is cringe worthy and serves as more of a disadvantage because it takes away one complete facet of the offense-the ability to get 3 and not have to score a touchdown each time you get close to the goal line. You can play the woulda coulda shoulda game, but we got in near or in the red zone 4 (maybe more) times and only came away with 7 points. That can't happen. It worked against Liberty but can't cut it against App.

The blocked field goal was a turning point last night. Agreed?

Get that kick in the 3rd and you're up 10-7. Either score would have been huge. Like someone mentioned, either form of points gives you a shot even after that damn bootleg play bit us again.
