Great hire in my opinion. If I remember correctly didn't Byron and Coach Evans go at it once because he thought the team lacked discipline?

He was always a fan favorite and I thought he did a great job of representing our University. Good to have him back on board.

This is the web address to one of UL's true Champions!!! I had some great memories of watching Byron, he was a hustler, great athlete, and a player who played the game clean but hard!!

My son will be going to one of his upcoming shooting camps and he is very excited to geaux. He saw a video clip which I will try to post. If I am unable I know the great Turbine will be able to do so.

Byron has a book that I purchased online as I thought it would be a great read for me and my son!

ps We are blessed to have great men like Byron to work with our kids and parents. We all give back in our own ways, whether we mean to or not, whether it is good or bad.

If this is actually the case, am I to assume that one of the existing coaches will be leaving? As of now, we have three full time assistants (Johnny Simmons, Rick LeBato, Jai Steadman). Could he possibly be a non-paid assistant?

I can't direct you on igeaux but there is a chicken-egg thread somewhere about Simmons leaving. He left when his contract expire last month.
