That means we are recruiting kids with discipline. Not only are we going after good players but they have some character also. Hopefully...

I thought I remember Napier saying it would take 3 years to get there, but it was some time ago ... maybe last December.

Not sure which recruiting service you are looking at. 247 has Anderson at 49, Fleming at 54, Amos at 59, Marshall at 69 and Lacey at 75 in Louisiana.

If indeed Anderson stays at WR, then that is Anderson, Fleming and Lacey at 6' or taller and Errol Rogers coming in at 5'11". Good sized guys coming in at that position.

I’ve always said there is no reason nech should ever beat us in recruiting. It’s about time we get a coach who has figured that out. Great job coach Napier.

If we can keep the 3 receivers, I was told Anderson will play on the defensive side of the football. Watching his video, he is similar to Tracey Walker coming out of HS as an athlete. Perhaps a little faster, but great length and loves to hit.

Not to rain on your parade, but after reading your post, I looked at the 2020 recruiting class rankings on 247 recruiting. As of today, La Tech is ranked #61 with 20 recruits (17-3 star), and our class is ranked #70 with 16 recruits (13-3 star). This doesn't mean we haven't beaten Tech out for some recruits (which is definitely progress), but the Techsters are still more than holding their own with us in recruiting.

The good news is that we're trending up, where they're trending flat, as in having reached their peak.

Now to schedule and beat them in an actual game.

It’s a damn shame they are nowhere to be found on any future football schedules! It benefits everyone involved and the fans love it! This should be an annual game...I don’t get it.

Hate to rain on his parade?
Isn’t that what you do here? An incessant black cloud over RP...
