Just noticed Virginia Tech has a need next year. Let's go to Blacksburg. Neither conference has their dates, yet. I hope they don't get another crappy FCS game just to have 6 home games.

Most years, the 6th home game slot would better serve our program if it were a P5 road game.

If I were directing this scheduling, I would keep the in-state, FCS game. The other non-conference games would first try to be scheduled with any AAC school, Eastern Division MWC school or Rice, laTech, USM.

Whatever spots left over would go to Big 12 schools first, then other P5.

...., and I would keep that philosophy as much as possible across all sports.




Only outlier would be NMSU, if they agreed to a basketball series for a long time.

Playing out of state FCS, any MAC school, or any CUSA school outside of the above 3, does absolutely nothing for our program.

Could be a winnable game but I know Maggard has said he is waiting/wanting to get a Home game.
Maybe we can do a Home-Home or a Home-Home-Neutral(NOLA).

UCF needs 2 games in 2020. Maybe they're on Dr Maggard's radar. Would they do a H/H with us?

TCU needs 2 games in 2020. How about NOLA in 2020 and Fort worth in 2022.
Someone needs to get the yokel on the scheduling ASAP
