I wouldn't give up on Holland. She's a fighter. She wants that second baseman's job. It was hers the last 2 years. She just happened to get injured. I think it's hers to lose.

One of the softball websites. It was mentioned she started following the UW coach. It's all speculation at this point.

Personally I don't like this "burnt roux" stuff. Some of these people transfer out by mutual agreement and they have no beef with UL and vis versa. Most of them came and gave their best effort. Burnt Rue makes it sound like there is animosity and that is not always the case. Reporting transfers is fine, but calling it burnt rue has a connotation that sounds negative.

I agree. There's certainly a time for burnt roux, but many of these are not.
