Assuming we win vs Georgia Southern today. Who would we prefer to win in this mornings game in the battle of the Trojans. We took 1/3 from Troy and 2/3 from LR.

Troy has a .286 Season Batting Average with 63 HR's on the season
LR has a .271 Season Batting Average with 49 HR's on the season

Troy has a 5.66 Team ERA on the Season with a .285 B/A against
LR has a 4.93 Team ERA on the Season with a .261 B/A Against.

It appears Troy is the better hitting team, but LR has the better pitching staff.

Troy is 5-5 in their last 10 games
LR is 8-2 in their last 10 games

I am going to assume we would rather face Troy, but want to get your opinions.

By the way, bottom of the 1st, LR up 1-0 on a HR.

Well there’s a huge problem...obviously these guys on the team are either deaf...or stupid...bc Robe has been the same man and public speaker for years...did they not do a single ounce of research before committing to play for the man?

LR now up 2-0 with bases loaded with one out in the bottom of the 2nd. I would l would really like to see a 14-13 game and see both of them use a ton of pitching, but so far it looks like LR is cruising early.

For you statisticians out there, when the season started every team in the conference had an 8.3% chance to win the conference tournament. By virtue of just getting into the tournament those percentages went up to 10%. After winning last night the Cajuns % chance to win the whole this is now 12.5% (only 8 teams left).
