Gotta give them a day off after the long bus ride???? I remember getting off the bus on a Tuesday night from Shreveport and taking BP because we embarrassed ourselves...

Well the NCAA requires they get tomorrow off. But the players (seniors) could always arrange their own practice. If I were a senior, I would be scrambling to do everything I could to not have my last year of ball go down like this.

Didn’t know that, but I agree with the seniors having a come to Jesus practice tomorrow.

Wanna win 40 games ? Go 39-10 the rest of the way. No easy task and likely won’t be close unless we find some answers quick. Just putting the reality out there for those that were thinking 40 wins this season.

I’m sure the little typist has it all figured out and will type it out for us. Can’t wait.

There was a time, not so long ago, where players ran until they had near death experiences, right after they got off the bus from a weekend roadie, in the pitch black of Tigue Moore.

I didn't play for the Cajuns but can attest to this kind of thing in the middle of nowhere JUCO. Some pretty crazy things that were either not against the rules, or no way the administration or NJCAA would ever find out.

Then there was "player only" meetings in the locker room or behind the dugout's late at night that could get rough.

We used to have those too. This is the kind of thing I was alluding to this morning. Players no longer control the club house. Everything is dictated to them. At the same time, players today don’t lead like they did in those days. Kids are just different.
