We overcame a 6:30 minute, 22-0 run and won. Not always productive but they did hustle. Where was this effort Wed night?

Southern was making all the uncontested threes. GaSt was 0/7 in the 1st half. Most were uncontested. Sometimes teams and players don’t have season highs vs Big Fish coached teams.

Went back and rewatched, surprised ESPN didn’t show any part of Simonds getting into it with the crowd then flipping everyone off after the missed 3/Miller rebound to finish it.

That would explain why no one in this thread mentioned it

Look for him to become a team leader as his career progresses. Guy is strong mentally and the pressure of the moment is not too big for him. He is also an excellent free throw shooter. I figured he would be as he hit some big ones in tournament games in his HS career.

I was a couple of rows up and couldn't quite hear him (but it looked interesting) he was smiling then started releasing f bombs or something of that sort
