Someone please confirm for me.
Will the common Fan be able attend the Signing Day Bash or do you have to be one of the ELITES for this.
Is their a door charge, no problem here, if so

🗣 Calling all Ragin' Cajuns!

On Wednesday, Feb. 6, there will be two chances to hear @coach_bnapier speak about #NSD19 and our No. 1 ranked class in the @SunBelt! #cULture | #GeauxCajuns pic.twitter.com/txy0vjVQ0I
All the same coaches, staff and players will be in attendance and introduced.
Just curious, but do you think the greet and meet bashes of the pass are done since signing day is divided into 2 separate periods? Or is this the way Coach Napier wants things done? Noon meeting.
It was always fun to meet at the end of signing day with other devoted fans to cheer our new Cajuns on, wish them well and thank them for coming to UL. It was something all could attend after work. But with it being at noon, it's obviously not meant for all Cajun fans to attend, regardless if it "open to the public".
Either way, I will be there once the season starts.
Obviously the excitement is difused over a much longer time period. Remember Coach Napier refused to sign anyone on the initial time period last year. All our recruiting was in the second time period.
No doubt things have changed. The noontime event isn't a way to get fewer fans, it's just the way it's going to be. Now clearly the elite invitation at 5:00 PM is an effort to monetize the final product.
I'm thinking this will get more money and further reduce organic growth of the fan base. Not sure if it's bigger things than we can overcome for most programs in general.
I'm not doubting it will attract more money....but by doing so, it may upset the general fan who wants to feel like they're part of the big picture. You can't have it both ways, entertain the money and ignore the general bloke, yet want the general bloke to fill the stadium on Saturday night.
