Georgia flipped Ohio States #1 QB prospect today and get this.....the frosh QB Fields at Georgia has decided to play in the Sugar Bowl so he's not quite out the door there yet.....unreal.

........I remember Eugene Sanders....West Jeff-Washington with EdDavis and Kieth Walker—-UL-A&M-Ul-A&m-UL and taking classes-A&M-Tampa Bay.....don’t give up BB!!!

Sure, there is a huge learning curve, but at the same time, if a QB has skills, it shows up quickly. I hate to say it, but I don't see QB skills when I watch Lewis. I trust Napier and maybe Lewis can improve but it's going to have to be an incredible development.

If we don't get a JC guy to come in, we may have a repeat of the 2 QB system we had this season. Fields starting and Lewis with the same scheduled series per half.

Aside for that scenario, I would be shocked if Lewis rises above 3rd string emergency QB.

Yeah, but I hope we never see that again. I think Napier had no choice, and had to get Lewis some kind of experience just in case.

What about McDowell starting...he is enrolling early so he’ll have an extra 5 months of training over fields and watching the film...he doesn’t get as much attention as fields but he might compete for it

I think it's very possible, depending on what Napier does about getting a JUCO QB.

Only reason I discount that is Napier already said on 103.7 radio yesterday that McDowell is a project, and specifically mentioned Fields when discussing QBs battling for the job next Fall.

McDowell might end up being the GOAT, but as for next Fall, I think he redshirts.

Its going to be ok. I contacted President Trump about our need for a good transfer QB and he responded he would find us one. Said not to worry, it would be great. Wait, I'm sorry that was about the stock market. Oh well, I guess we shall see whether Fields or McDowell can play once they put on the pads. It became obvious that Davis wasn't the talent they thought and it only took 4 years to figure it out.
