Default Former college baseball player now a Ragin Cajun softball player

Sarah Hudek, who was once a member of the Bossier Parish Community College baseball team, is now a Ragin Cajun softball player. Hudek is transferring in from Texas A& M where she played for one year on the softball team. She is the daughter of former Houston Astros pitcher, John Hudek. At Bossier Parish Community college, she pitched 20 innings and struck out 12. I bet those boys were a little po'd. Obviously, she doesn't throw like a girl! Happy to have her on the team.

Black is not a school color. SMH!

I concur. I think we have something special in the making.

Looks likely to get away from small ball, back to gorilla ball.

Need to develop some pitching to compliment Summer in order to have a legit shot.

Mark, I don't know if you got to catch any fall this year but the Aussie looks like she could really work into a solid D1 pitcher.

I did. I went to the McNeese game. I recall her pitching an inning or 2 in that game. It must have been an off game for her because she couldn't find the strike zone so Glasco pulled her. From your post, it appears that she has gotten things straightened out?

I enjoyed the aggressive base-running and trying to manufacture runs. Hopefully that mentality isn’t completely replaced.

I enjoy 15 run games. Don’t really care how we get them. I do know when we had seven power hitters in the lineup most pitchers eventually crumbled like sugar cookies.

The Trump people say we are doing very well with manufacturing jobs. I believe they will still be very plentiful come the spring. Otherwise, they may be mentally replaced with the long ball thingy.
