As a season ticket holder, the fact that we are roughly 50 days from the end of the 2018 season, I see this as a big F U to the fan base. Like, we’ll announce or maybe we won’t. That’s a very large bill to pay with this renovated stadium to keep stringing people on. I’ve heard all the excuses as to why this has taken so long but we’re now sitting in late July. I’m not buying all the protocol BS at this point. Better be a great season coming up.

I have never seen a good coaching hire fail to move the needle.

We have missed post season 2 years in a row..the expectation of a successful 2019 season is there regardless. Expectations and excitement aren’t the same thing. “Better be a great season coming up” is the sentiment regardless of who is standing on 3rd. If we fail to make post season with Jake Wells it won’t sit with the fans any better.

Until the university confirms it, is Wells or JT the hitting coach? We all think we have someone that tells us the truth about it. But there's only a small handful of people who know the truth and they don't post here. Everything said to you, me, posted here, etc is hearsay.

Also, you didn't answer my question. Why should there be an announcement for any coaching hire? Just let everyone guess until we see who's on the field, right?
