These guys don't need to be taught hitting. They need to be left tf alone to use whatever hitting they're using on their own (see Lott in Cape Cod) and be taught how to mentally approach situations. In other words, the hitting coach needs to create bulldogs with swagger and get tf out of the way.

Didn’t bother deggs teams, it’s about buy in. You have to want to bunt when called upon. 13’-14’ trans hit bombs and dropped down bunts 1-9. Give up to go up. So much is about mentality and approach. If the guys at the plate don’t trust the guy on third nothing works.

Campbell is a small Baptist college in the middle of bum f North Carolina...if he can recruit to that school, he should do wonders at UL...btw, the pep squad is collectively known as The Camel Toes..

Question....Someone said on here the other day that Maggard was going to "shock the mid major world" and that UL was "opening up the checkbook" basically tripling what Talbot was making for this hire. Is this the guy ? A guy from Campbell ? Not that there's anything wrong with the school or the Big South Conference but this is sort of a buzz kill if in fact it's who we're talking about.
