    Didn't in 2014.

Question....Someone said on here the other day that Maggard was going to "shock the mid major world" and that UL was "opening up the checkbook" basically tripling what Talbot was making for this hire. Is this the guy ? A guy from Campbell ? Not that there's anything wrong with the school or the Big South Conference but this is sort of a buzz kill if in fact it's who we're talking about.

Not once have any of the coaching rumors been true under Maggard. You can't buy anything until it's official.

Question: anyone else here inadvertently, or accidentally ever had LTUR added to your profile? Or any other school added to it that you did not enter yourself?

I guess if you are inherently negative you can find something wrong with every candidate. You can have more than one guy recruiting players. One is just the coordinator.
They had some good slugging percentages for a lot of the top hitters on his teams.

Are we kidnapping Jake Gautreau in the middle of the night out of Starkville? I will be proud to join the special forces unit that executes the mission.

No it doesn't. Bunting is another offensive weapon that when used can cause havoc. See Cajuns baseball 2014. Also Miss St. in one of their postseason walk off wins did it with a bunt. The guy who bunted is a pretty good hitter. He was quoted after the game saying: "Learn how to bunt kids."

Salaries are based on reputation, resume and performance. I'm sure if this is the guy, his salary will reflect that.

Guys like Gautreau or Gaspard would have cost a lot more. UL was willing to pay them, from what I heard.

We won't pay this man (if he is the choice) six figures.

Part of the game. Every player should be able to get a bunt down at any time during a game. The real problem with bunting is some coaches don’t know when or when not to use it. And it’s not black and white.
