2019 Cajuns Baseball Lineup???

Kausuls and Cantrelle would be locks as starters next year. I think Mckennon, Lahare, Windham(unless he hits), and Bourgois should be role players. We can't have another team full of defensive replacements in the starting lineup

LaHare was best hitter on team most of season. He also plays with lots of passion. He is more than a role player.

Does anyone know the kids that are coming in this fall??
I’ve heard of a couple from LSUE one being a pitcher that hits mid 90s and the other is the SS. Heard the SS is a good ball player. Never seen him play but if he’s anything like his dad he will fit in and bring some attitude!

Connor Joffrion out of Parkview Baptist should be a solid addition. Really good kid. Fast as a lightning bolt. Hud was looking at him as a QB. He's an outfielder. Phillip Hawke, former Cajun baseball player, is Parkview's batting coach.

Hannie was a tremendous athlete at STM. If healthy, and hopefully he is, could be an excellent addition to the ball club.

Kasuls, Lahare, Bourgois, Cantrelle, Mckinnon,Monica and Windham aren’t going anywhere. So we’ll have basically the same lineup just adding Breaux and Monica. Hopefully after seeing one year of D1 pitching they’ll improve.

I would throw Templet in there as well. There may be another transfer or two as well.

I’m pretty sure Gunner will be back. Hogan - would love to have him back but probably won’t. Lee - would love to see him back as a senior.

Tad bit off topic, but anyone know of any definite plans for Russo Park upgrades over the offseason this year? I’ve heard of new locker rooms/offices/cages along the first base side... Schilling Shack Party behind the RF wall... New placement of padding along the outfield wall - Wonderif this would look like Houston - pads with adds and a yellow line across the top.
