Thread: LSU/UL NIT matchup

I was at the game but went back and watched it today. At the end of the espn3 broadcast with i think like 15 seconds left they showed a clip of marlin and I read his lips say "fudging traitor" or "fudging trainer". It was during the game where they pulled the clip I believe. Any thoughts as to what that might mean?

But only your crème of the crop fans attend basketball games.

Do you have data to back up this statement?

Great - LSU fans will marvel at how much nicer the CajunDome is than the PMAC.

How in good conscious can you put Ragin Cajuns of Louisiana in your title with nasty things you say about the Cajuns?

No he doesn't! He is relying on historical oilfield company bulk ticket sales, which in itself is a far flung Acadiana thing not a Lafayette thing.

No, he doesn't because it's garbage......there are far more UL alums and fans in Lafayette Parish then LSU.

Home and home, every year regardless of how bad LSU's RPI is.

Similar to Baseball games, UL controls the ticket allotment and the attendance would not be a LSU "home game". Home & Home will never happen for football or basketball. There is no benefit for LSU to play at UL, ULM, LA Tech or Tulane. Arkansas ever played Arkansas-LR? Does Alabama play UAB in Birmingham? No. Home & Home opportunities are limited & LSU will use those dates to schedule national powers. Playing other state schools in BR has little benefit to LSU either, but is feasible.
