He is very talented.

Speaking of talented, Nick Lee has taken a big step forward so far this year. Small, but good quality sample size. No more baseline traffic and looks like he is in total control.

He had a no hitter going late in the game until Ian mentioned it. Then they got the sole hit off of him but a few batters later.

Dominated a good hitting team. They never had a chance. He overwhelmed them completely. Blew their best hitter away 3 times. I think 2 balls were hit hard.

Had something like 81 pitches into the 8th.

They looked like little kids against a grown man, but they are a very solid offense. 1 hit. 1 run. Brooks locked up the game.

OK stupid question, I noticed there is no longer a home plate. What is the rule when a player slides into home plate without a plate to tag?

Serious? Of course there is a home plate. If you are saying that because you can't see it on TV from the OF camera, that's because it is sunk in the turf a bit.
