The fact that the players we lost were to SEC teams is encouraging. It shows that this staff is targeting the right talent. That will happen, but if they keep trying and when they have more time to develop relationships, they will land some of those. It's not like we lost them to Arkansas-Monticello, McNeese or another G5 school. This staff did a remarkable job when you consider Coach Napier was hired just a little over 50 days ago! The future looks bright.

Then you better hope Porter loses 30 pounds over the summer. Kidd is your starter at NT if he gets in shape, McDowell is your 5 Tech. Who starts at the 7 Tech, Booker? We are extremely inexperienced with Booker and Hill. Hill is undersized if you are playing true 3-4 front, we still need another JC DT that can play multiple positions.

Let me also add that we lost a future left tackle in Jones. Mitchell is a right tackle, so there is a need for a JC there now. Overall the class is solid and these coaches worked their butts off collectively. But if you aren't filling your needs, your class has holes. Hopefully he will find several more before May.
