We are on par or even better in all phases of the program when compared to Colorado State. Unfortunately, they have a brand new stadium to show off to these recruits. We have to get this Press Box fixed soon.
I don't disagree on UMass, but Oregon State is a different animal. If we start competing for players with low-level P5 teams this soon, I think that is great progress. I get the geography issues, etc. However, the difference of playing in the Pac12 vs SunBelt is astronomical.
This is a crawl/walk/run process.
Crawl - Compete with low-level P5 teams, especially those that we should have the geographic advantage.
Walk - Compete with mid-level P5 teams that we have a geographical advantage over AND low-level P5 teams in our geographical area.
Run - Compete with mid-level P5 teams across the nation, regardless of geography.
Not much not to like...
