He obviously likes Napier, perhaps the reason he visited Arizona State. Yeah, we'll miss on more of this caliber player than we hit, that's for sure, but we'll hit on a couple I bet. Thank god we've got some decent facilities for them to see.

I was just kidding. My point was that if the previous staff would have gone after this kid, the response would have been "competing with McNeese for a kid, what the hell, offers from Alcorn State, Eastern Illinois, Houston Baptist, Idaho, Jackson State and Southern?"

Nothing wrong with competing for a recruit here or there with the mcneese's of the world, especially if coaches sees potential that others may not and can develop. It becomes an issue when it is the majority of our recruits.

Evaluation and projection....recruit the two star and see a 3 or 4 star within.....see the good 3 star and see the 4 and 5 star player....remember, there are far more 3 star players in the NFL than any other rating....
