Everyone can have their own opinion on this and I get that. I love the passion of our fans. It's all a roll of the dice guys from hiring Napier who by the way has no head coaching experience to every coach....it's up to the AD to choose a Head Coach that will be highly successful down to that HC putting together a staff that will lead us to success....

I agree. I just like to see us "critics" admit... ever so often... that despite our incredible talents and gifts for knowing everything... that the people that made this their life's work... sometimes... just sometimes... might... just might... know better.

Discussion is awesome. But in this case... Napier hasn't even placed the UL canvas on the easel... and we see him pick up his first brush... not even knowing what he's going to paint... and some of us yell "wrong brush!". It's worth a chuckle. I do it too.

Yup. The exact moment was when T-Joe left the old guard behind and started implementing the Alden Report. Things might not happen at the pace some of us wish, but the implementation is the momementum we see today. It all won't be perfect and quick. We will have bumps (Farmer, Hud, the EX softball coach), but see...those things are working out fine, as will the future.

T-Joe has brought growth enrollment and infrastructure wise to UL. Athletics may be his real legacy by the hires he has approved and has more or less gotten out the way, letting people do what they were hired to do.

I'm not a Big 12 guy (but it just drives mutts crazy), but I know at some point in the future, you won't recognize it looking back to today.

This is another reason I don’t like the hire. Its time we have a defense that schemes to stop ppl, not “create turnovers”. We’ve seen how successful that gameplan has been under Hudspeth and most of his DCs.
