I've heard. Nothing bud bad things about our strength and conditioning staff since Rusty left... from players &coaches

Gerald hammered Rusty on the radio. Said him and Rusty never saw eye to eye, and that Rusty's Thursday lifting and terrible techniques directly led to 3 injuries in the second half of a single game.

That doesn’t surprise me to hear Gerald’s opinion. He’s basically mocked several times on the radio Rusty having his guy run the upper decks at Cajun Field with backpacks of sand.

Whatever. All I know is when Rusty was in charge of their conditioning, our guys rarely looked out of shape, especially in the 4th Quarter.

I don't know Rob Sale personally, I do remember him when he came out of Neville HS and played at LSU. He did a hell of a job at ULM and McNeese while there, recruited well considering both schools. Since then he has coached the OL at Georgia and now Arizona State. I've heard other coaches speak highly of him, Coach Broussard knows him. He is known as a teacher and a good recruiter. Don't be surprised if he is named Assistant OC/Running Game Coordinator and Napier calls his own plays.
