Bama would probably counter with a significant pay raise but I'd try to Karl Dunbar as DC. He's 20 years into coaching and has never been higher than a defensive line coach. Maybe he'd like the opportunity. He's from Louisiana, knows Napier and is supposedly a great recruiter.

I hope so too, for Mike's sake, he could learn a lot from this incoming staff. I'm sure he will get considered.

Des isn't a grad assistant. I'm fine with him being retained as long as Napier thinks he adds the most value at whatever he needs. No loyalty hires, friend hires, nothing but best person for the job.

That's the way it's gotta be across everyone in our athletic office.
