Dumbest thing I've ever read.

ULM didn't know that (literally the same qb) which makes everything from their play calling to execution a little more tentative.

Nunez faced a defense that was prepared for the same plays Davis was trying to execute. They ran the same playbook.

In Turbine's defense...the defense that faced Nunez was up by 3 scores.

Some were arguing ULM was in a prevent mode.

They weren't in prevent mode in the first half.

When Davis was in right?

I was just looking at Nunez.

I hope Davis gets healthy and returns to form, and that Nunez continues to do well if the opportunity arises.

I'm not taking anything away from Nunez, because there is certainly something to be said about being clutch. He did make some big time throws.

However, its one thing to play free and have the ability to just throw the ball around the yard against a prevent defense, who was gassed and already bad; and an entirely different thing to execute a game plan, prep for a defense that is prepping for you, and run a team from the first snap.
This.... He was playing with a lot of freedom because of the scoreboard.
