My great uncle, Bob Fournet, was one of the original Dirty Dozen...give these men their seats!
I bet they did get their seats...the wall behind them just isn't where it used to be,it's further up. We didn't build an exact replica of the old stadium. If Frenchie really cared about the program more than himself being the K guy he would do the right thing and find someone to pass the tradition to make sure it stays alive.
Back in 80 or 81 I would attend games on my days off and sit two rows down from the top row. Bob saw I was sitting alone and called me up to sit with them. That's where my long friendship started with Bob and the rest of the group that would become the dirty dozen and 1/2.
Frenchie, let me ask you; when you found out where your seat location was going to be did you inquire about moving it? It is my understanding these initial seat locations are (just like was done in the Cajundome) an effort to place you near your original seat(s).
The configuration is now different at the Tigue and nobody can place everybody in their "favorite" locations; so they did a best effort and at some point, if you do not like your seat location, you will have the opportunity to schedule a time to move them.
In his earlier posts Frenchie said the top rows had already been filled. At least that's my memory. Matt Casbon advised him seats that never existed before were already assigned to other people.
