Dedicated Fans Kudos

I’d like to praise all the dedicated Fans who attended the HEAT BOWL.

While I attended, we left at halftime due to the heat. Heat and senior citizens don’t mix.

It’s so sad when money games like the one we experienced Saturday take precidence over the safety of the Players, the band, athletic staff and FANS.

I remember the last time we had an 11am game against MTSU, David Walker was AD, he contacted the SBC commissioner and told him never to schedule a Cajun game at 11am in the Fall. He got a huge praise from a Dallas Sports writer for standing up. For the team and fans.

Does anyone else remember this.

And they held Family Day in this heat, how stupid was that, to me it had to be a turn off for the parents.

I’m a senior (66y/y). And had no problems with heat yesterday. I was able to stay hydrated for the whole day. The only drawback I saw was running out of Natty Lights. THAT is inexcusable.

I'm 70...not much of a problem since I'm used to it bushhoging acres on the weekends...but I can see why many had issues

Wife and I stayed til the end. In fact, when Ben threw the last pick, I looked and asked her if she was ready.

She said, "Not until is reads "00:00".

I was there from start to finish.

It was bearable for me but I can see why it wasn’t for the majority. (As evidenced by medics taking multiple people out on stretchers) Running out of water is inexcusable as staying hydrated is how to avoid those issues

As a fan that attempts every home football game no matter what, it is tiresome to have our best home games continually get screwed over for tv
