Well, you realize its not necessarily designed to "drink as much beer as possible" right? It's kind of designed to allow you to try different beer types from different breweries. The samples are very small, smaller than wine samples at most wine festivals. You aren't forced to shotgun them.
Late kickoffs after Homecoming have issues. You don't gain much Tailgating time with the earlier sunsets. Later ending games can be chilly.
While I would be in favor of 7pm kickoffs before Homecoming to lessen sun exposure on the student side, I would prefer a 5pm kickoff for Homecoming and beyond.
Basically, all we need to do is move our kickoffs back 1 hour across the board.
I'd say that a bunch of people from out of town are going to be in town on A St weekend, be it for the events downtown or other festivals in the area, hotel rooms were at a premium when I made my reservation, and it was just luck that Juliet had a cancellation and I was able to get a room there even though it was a more expensive room than I normally get.
