Before plus for sure, i think espn3 had just started. I was at the game so not sure, just remember it being pretty warm.

If so, it's a miracle how they always nail homecoming.

Personally I’m not in favor of a festival dedicated to drinking as much beer as possible for anyone 21+ years old. Certainly I’d never bring my minor children, grandchildren to that. But that’s me now. I’m sure the 21-35 Cajun Express might have indulged, but not with children in my care.
Well, you realize its not necessarily designed to "drink as much beer as possible" right? It's kind of designed to allow you to try different beer types from different breweries. The samples are very small, smaller than wine samples at most wine festivals. You aren't forced to shotgun them.

I’m just telling you some of the things that were actually said. They also mentioned responsible driving alternatives, and yeah small samples.

Same. That game was on the SBC Network, which was carried by CST in the SBC markets and also streamed on ESPN3 elsewhere. It was also always a Sat 230pm kickoff.

I beneficent the following week we were on sbc network also vs MT, and they moved that kickoff to 6pm.

How do you suppose Monroe plays at home at 1900 every week? THEY choose, not ESPN.
I believe this to be true also. Espn+ times are scheduled by the home school.

Fyi, I prefer ALL (even homecoming) 6 pm kickoff times. I hate losing tailgating time.

I would not assume anything for Louisiana based upon what happens at Monroe.

    Apples and Oranges.

    Night and Day.

    You just can't bridge it.

While I would be in favor of 7pm kickoffs before Homecoming to lessen sun exposure on the student side, I would prefer a 5pm kickoff for Homecoming and beyond.

Basically, all we need to do is move our kickoffs back 1 hour across the board.

I will go with the UL/UT game last year. 1/2 mile up at the top of that stadium

A friend of mine was there and said it felt like they were boiling, so high that it felt like they were almost in the sun.

I'd say that a bunch of people from out of town are going to be in town on A St weekend, be it for the events downtown or other festivals in the area, hotel rooms were at a premium when I made my reservation, and it was just luck that Juliet had a cancellation and I was able to get a room there even though it was a more expensive room than I normally get.
