I agree. They should have free, first come first serve tailgating in TG3 near the corner of Bertrand/ Congress.

The whole idea of PAID tailgating spots is stupid and played out. Oh, I'm gonna pay you $1k so I can cook some crawfish stew and dance like a chicken. OK. GTFOOH.
The pandemic last year was very stressful on our athletic department. You guys have got to realize they only had jobs because of the athletic events taking place and fans paying for things like tickets and rcaf membership.
What was the amount, they had an $8 million deficit; they made cuts they didn't want to but had to to stay afloat. I think they did very well considering the economic situation they were faced with.
I'm sure they will staff back up as soon as they are able. Remember also, there is also another issue with covid and a lack of people taking the shots. No telling where this will go, again.
My point is, give them a break.
They are severely understaffed right now and it is summer with no sports in action.
I would expect staffing (if no covid issues) to increase within the month, which is still a month before the season starts.
I think the point is that it has been like this long before covid.
But it isn't for me and I am not a big donor. Just this week I needed to make a change so I emailed my RCAF Cajun Concierge, which has been around since 2020. He called me back the same day and everything was taken care of within a day or two.
My concierge is different now because of the staff changes over the last year but the communication is there and that is why that position was created, to handle any RCAF issues.
any time I have called RCAF and left a message I have had a call back in a reasonable time frame
I received an email from RCAF/Brandon Domingue at the end of April, letting me know he would be my new concierge and to address any questions to him. It is my belief everyone that is an active member of RCAF (regardless of level?) has a concierge assigned to them, as per the email copied below:
Dear RCAF Investor,
I am emailing you, to introduce myself as your "Cajun Concierge" for the RCAF 2021-2022 season. This exciting benefit, that was announced in 2020, will provide you the personalized customer service you deserve as one of our loyal supporters.
It is my pleasure to serve as your personal resource for questions about membership levels, tickets, parking, priority points, or any other items related to Louisiana Athletics. RCAF Renewals will be sent in the next few weeks via email. Please feel free to reach out if there is anything I can do to improve your overall experience supporting the Ragin' Cajuns.
I look forward to serving you and your family, as your Cajun Concierge.
GEAUX CAJUNS!
