8 is pretty darn good.
How can being ranked to go the WCWS be too low?
Here's what I think. Arizona is too high at number three. Remember, their second pitcher is Alyssa Denham. I think the Cajuns are better and should be ranked ahead of Minnesota. I also think the Cajuns are better than Texas. The good thing is, they will get a chance to prove it this year. So, the Cajuns are ranked number eight. I think they could be as high as number five. JMHO.
I don’t see why 8th would be too low at this juncture. It’s been a while since we’ve finished Top 8 (trip to OKC), so I’d take that ranking as a sign of respect.Quote:

To many unknown factors involved to rank them at #8 so for that reason and that reason alone I have to go with #1.

I sure hope that Brittney Holland gets some playing time and stays healthy, I really feel for this girl. 2 straight years with season ending injuries.
Ranking is good, perfect for the beginning of a new season. High enough to feel our program is respected and low enough to desire to be much better. We have a lot of talent in pitching, fielding and hitting, but there is a newness to this fine softball 🥎 machine! It will take a certain amount of time to get this machine to loosen up and fine tuned and playing together. Geaux Cajuns!Quote:

Girl was a special player in JUCO, just has had some unfortunate injuries at UL.
We picked up a second All American pitcher capable of beating anyone in addition to another 20 plus wins. No way properly ranked considering returning position players and now pitching. Yeah, I'd say we're under respected.Quote:
