WHENEVER the stadium work starts, I expect them to get after it like the contractor on the 90/Ambassador exchange. Been grubbing out there since a few days after the proceed notice was given.

I hope the I-49 and Louisiana Stadium crews work faster than the crew that has been working on Johnston Street south of the Mall.

I live near there as well. They opened it up just in time to close rue de belier at Dulles. It’s been going on damn near 3 years now.

Hard to beat the I-10 construction in Orange, TX. That’s been something like 10 years. It’s become a novelty…hell, it’s romantic.

But now Congress is a pain with the detour at Dulles/93 diverted. And a roundabout is in the engineering phase for Domingue/Ridge. Hopefully it will all be done before the new Prairie Elementary opens and adjacent subdivision fills (130 houses).

More like 20. I remember them starting that around the year 2000.

I can’t get over how they’ve left that first mile going into Texas. There’s zero runoff, it’s full speed, and it is full of sudden lane shifts and bumps. That’s also been there for 20 years.
