Cajuns played very poorly on offense most of the night in my view. Encouraging in that a road blowout against a CUSA team still happens despite that. Too many missed shots near goal, granted probably more fouls occurred than were called. Still, too many turnovers and missed free throws to be successful against a quality opponent. Having said all that the Cajuns defense was OUTSTANDING. Rebounding was a positive as well. Virtually all the loose balls wound up in Cajun hands. Those things will travel and lead to lots of victories.Quote:
