That's consistent with the Massey spread I posted earlier (Cajuns -3.78) as well as the Sagarin spread (Cajuns -3.81).

I'm good with that. Pretty much the way I was thinking. Cajuns should be favored but it's reasonable to think the Cowboys have a chance.

Very important game for the Cowboys. Not as important for the Cajuns. I hope that's a factor.

If the players and coaches truly know what is at stake, the statement about it being more important for McNeese is false. As a matter of fact, I'd state that at this time, it means or should mean more to us. They lose, so what they are supposed to on paper. We lose? Dumpster fire......

Matt was always going to move on, eventually. There was a lot of speculation that he'd end up as a coordinator at a bigger school...or that he'd get a HC shot at a mid major...

The move worked out well for him...

ULM's gonna be a lot better this year than they have been....it'll be interesting to see how the season progresses..

Also, if we're talking attendance, I saw some of the pics from last week's Cajun game. What was the announced crowd, 22K?

Lots of those folks musta been dressed as empty seats...kinda like the old days ;)

ULM is expected to be horrible. They were competing for SBC titles two years ago. He has his work cut out for him.

Everyone has a cross to bear in life. I guess Formerbackupcenter's cross is having to have gone to McNeese. Now, we all know the story and can understand. I'd be bitter and pi55sed off as well if I had to attend that hell hole!!! LMAO!

Well, in all fairness I did consider USL for about half a second...until I realized that USL had gone 14-19 over the previous three seasons compared to McNeese's 28-7, and two bowl games in the same time frame...why would I have wanted to sign with a losing program?

I doubt that...USL had a perfectly good center at the time, Dennis Peoples, God Rest his soul...
