By heavy fan are you talking 300 lbs heavy or 300k heavy?

Both those CD seats would be tight

Look no further than UL softball how far a “heavy” donor can help a program. Lamsom’s legacy lives on.

Fans are likely ok with the first 6 or 7 years. But it's now been 7 seasons since the NCAA tournament. The schedule has gotten progressively weaker and the excuse "they won't play us" is no longer acceptable. His teams can win in what is very much a weak Sun Belt Conference regular season but can't even make the championship game in the conference tournament. So, overall, the fans may be ok with him, but I think the consensus is, it's time to go.
Bryan and T-Joe?
Bryan: He is pleased but not satisfied. Enough fans have complained to him about all the things they do not like about the program, and he is taking all those factors into consideration. But the men's basketball team never finishes in the bottom half of the conference, usually qualifies for post season (even if it is the buy-in tournaments), runs a clean, above board program. And he likes and respects Bob personally.
T-Joe: He has a long memory. He remembers the 2009/2010 season and the off season. He remembers the 2010/2011 season and the miraculous way Bob turned those players around in the second half of the season. He likes that Bob graduates his players, runs a clean program and he likes and respects him also.
Are they happy? Yes. But they recognize the need for improvement. They likely feel that they can weather the (fan) storm for three more years and let Bob ride off into the sunset.
But what happens with automatic contract extensions? Doesn't Bob have some fairly generous provisions written into his contract that he automatically extends by a year if he reaches certain results (which don't necessarily make it a successful season)?

Who was lining up to pay Napier's salary increase? While the football program has been successful for the last few years, its not like our attendance is soaring and weren't our RCAF numbers down?

LSU was averaging over 11,000 people per game. In 2019, they were 3rd in the country in increased average attendance. What are you referring to?
