I like the hire. Good coaches are normally the sons of coaches, and many times across different sports. And that is the case here. It may not be great from day 1, but Gunner has a chance to be an excellent addition to the staff.

This could be a low pay/risk, high reward. It is worth a shot. What we have isn't working for the most part.

Just heard his position will be Director of Pitching and Analytics. Does that mean he isn’t an actual assistant?

Justin will thrive and be very successful long term, just as Gunner will.

There is more than enough God given talent, support and work ethic for them to kill it. I am excited for them both.

Karly is an amazing talent who will be successful at whatever she chooses when she hangs up her cleats.

So is he the pitching coach now? Or is he an analysis ? If he isnt the pitching coach then i would think he is kinda like Bab. ….
