Second, Ben Archer was on the football team from 95-98. A quick search and he shows that he’s a graduate of UL.
Geezus dude. How many L's are you gonna take in ONE thread???? How are you this wrong so many times? Pauvre bet! Arrête ca, baw!

That would be the perfect place to tailgate IMHO. Big trees and right next to fraternity houses

Here’s the bar being set…pun intended.

What amazes me there are people in MH that went to USL then. It’s pretty much understood times have changed…nobody is blocking off a few streets just for open air drunkenness and such for hours at clustered bars in 2023. But at the same time, forgetting what it felt like being 18-22 is just plain depressing. Let the students breathe.
Y’all forgot Monday nights in the fall on the Strip. 25 cent 7 oz beers. Was a great time killer waiting for computer access, I could hold 8 on my person…

However small a percentage that location would creat less likelihood of them going in for the game.
Then again, probably a better percentage than "cant do that" creates.

That's the beauty of this. You can say your opinion, I can say mine. This notion of everything being about winning isn't helping the students one bit. People were bragging that they "won" but nothing changed. Politics 101

. . . students going to Marley’s as opposed to the front row at CF was not a change . . . asking for a friend . . .

That didn’t change anything for the students. When they don’t attend the other events, like myself and others have mentioned, that will bring the Administration to the table to try for real change.

What events are you talking about?

Sporatic at best, but the 2005ish era (give or take a few) when BabbForHeisman was in school had some really good student turnout games.
Even that is approaching 20.

That’s partially because there was a dedicated committee of students on campus, with the purpose being to get students to come to the games.
Of course, back then the rule was that if you didn’t have 15K butts in the seats (season average), you couldn’t be in I-A. So stakes were high.
And yes, that was 20 years ago…yikes.
