Or we just put "Louisiana's Ragin Cajuns" instead.

Really! You'd think something like this would have been promoted big time. Or at least an official release.

Hey Brock,
How is the STM turf? That is the same turf we are supposed to be getting. Ark. St. has the same turf, also.

Sounds like 2009 will be sweet!

If you think field turf is something to argue about, look at what else is going on.
I know these are true because Gerald Hebert told me:

All of the stadium seating area will be refreshed and painted.
Terraced patio seating will be built into one endzone.
But I want to know if this is in fact true:

What is this "old hotel floor" you guys speak of?
Re: New Turf on Cajun Field
This is all great, and I hope like heck that it is all true, and if it is true, it needs to be made public. There should be articles in the paper, David Walker and/or Scott Farmer should be on the radio talking about it. This, meaning promotion of the University athletic dept., should be top priority of Mr. Savoie. For the die hards like most who post here, this is our source of info on all things Ragin Cajun, but for the rest of the public who has become apathetic about athletics, they need info like the new turf and sky boxes, etc... to keep them interested until the winning starts.
Let's go UL, get the freakin word out.::x::

2009? Seriously? Where are the architectural drawings for this? I mean if this is really going to happen, shouldn't there be some evidence of it?
Wouldn't the architects have the designs on their website as a "look what we can do"?
And even so, you know it won't get done in 2009. See how long it took to get the IPF built? And we are still waiting on that fancy billboard on the corner of Congress and Bertrand that, like the rug in the Big Lebowski, will "really bring the room together."
Wouldn't the university tout this? I mean they build so much as a new toilet for Mike (whatever the roman numeral) and there's a three dimensional view on State's website.
Or are we just USL'ing ourselves again?
Don't get me wrong, I'm an optimist, but let's be realistic.
Re: New Turf on Cajun Field
Is there an echo in here? :D If this is really happening, and on the timeline being touted; then it should be promoted big time. Shouldn't be "I've got a secret, and you're going to love it when you find out!" But it will be sweet when it comes. ;)
