Icegators need to go back to Blackham, or fade back into irrelevancy. I went to a game and was embarrassed for them, just put that old dog down.

We had 2 players injured from the poor floor conditions. That is unacceptable for our university and the Cajundome.
aaaaaand we not gonna mention the South Al player that slipped on the wide open dunk.......
dam...the grimace on his face before the fell looked like he wanted the rip the rim off with that dunk. Then he hit the ground...HARD. Our cheerleaders on the baseline were standing over him laughing. I felt bad for him.........
Note: I believe IMMEDIATELY before that play our floppy top white boy had fallen there. It may have been human sweat not floor sweat.

Get rid of Hockey, it is even dying in the North, NHL on it's deathbed. Seems to be a Canadian and Russian thing anyway.

Marlin is not the guy to turn things around and it doesn't matter what is written as people are voting with butts in seats as in none. Sooner or later Farmer must realize that the basketball program is not paying for itself anymore. This is not a charity we need a successful team and all we have is Obama like excuses that make no sense. Oh by the way, its not because we lost last night it because we are 6 and 12 and lost to Texas Southern and others teams we should not have lost too. We need a change and the end of this season would not be to soon!
Change will not happen at the end of the year. Coach Marlin will have four years left on his contract at the end of this season and we are not about to buy him out. The buyout is not equal to the entire salary but it is too much to buy out for at least two years. Despite this being Year 3, the administration is treating it as Year 1 due to the changes made. I understand losing patience due to the frustration of all the recent close losses but he will get a chance to see if his current plan ultimately pays off. We can do nothing about it. If you support the program go to the games, if not-stay home. It is your money and your time. It is not our place to judge. If and when things turnaround, victory will be sweeter for the guys who stayed with them.

Express is right in that the ice rink was a big culprit last night. I spoke to a former player today and in his opinion the game should not have gone on in those conditions.

I will say that this didn't happen in all the previous years the ice gators were playing in the dome. This was the first time I've seen it, and I've only missed a couple of games since we've been in the dome (or since 1974 for that matter).

All they had to do was turn on the AC before the game.
While ice may have been a factor, record rainfall and the subsequent humidity was a larger factor. A known factor! Easily fixed with running the AC -a no brainer- game day management dropped the ball.

Exactly. The ice is under the court every game. This is the first time moisture was a factor throughout the game. The root cause was the AC operation.
