Do it like Robe, HUD and Lotief, then we can talk.

As I said earlier raising dollars to buy a home game which may lower your RPI is a tough sell and upgrades are coming to the Dome. Help with travel is where we could help.
So what your saying is he doesn't do it like Robe, Lotief and HUD?

I also helped out in a minor way with the effort to help some players go on overseas trips this past summer. When asked to help out, I suggested placing a notice on Ragin Pagin about this project and asking if anyone else wanted to help. Response from the staff was we cannot do that due to NCAA rules. Apparently, direct personal requests are OK but online solicitation is not. That was news to me.
Re: Is Bob Marlin's seat even starting to warm up?
Why not mail out a separate donation card with season ticket invoices. On this donation card, you can select the following:
Yes, I'd like to donate "X" amount for the following:
A) Home scheduling ("Buying teams")
B) Charter traveling
C) Player development (Offseason/Overseas/etc)
D) Basketball offseason benefit(s)
**In layman's terms, the athletic program can explain what the goal is for each of the items listed on the donation card and information on why it's important or why it's needed**
I know some of this falls into your RCAF donation....but does it really?
The worst thing that can happen is it gets tossed in the trash. The best thing that can happen is donations due to awareness of needs.
I don't attend Rebounders meetings like I do for QB Club and Diamond Club, but a normal season ticket holder would never know that these things are desperately needed because like all things, it's SUPPOSED TO BE COMMON KNOWLEDGE and it' s not discussed in the open, just in closed "circles."

I think what Scotto 25 suggests here is a good idea. Scotto, why don't you email Mike Murphy with the recommendation along with some elaboration on it. His email is mmurphy@louisiana.edu.
