"Quick thinkers" is how I describe the players Evans brought in.
That dude who hiked the ball? Quickest thinker of them all.

Thanks T, most of the cajun fan base that actually cares about Basketball wants a change. The team this year is loaded and can easily win the SBC tourney. EASY EASY. The roster is LOADED, no excuses…

ETA: the league would be better off going back to the double-header format. At least gives them a chance to play in front of a few more people. “
Bob don’t want double headers, takes away from pre game shooting times!!!
We havent been able to shoot in years, we need the extra pre game shooting.

All I’m going to say is that we are going to have an incredibly talented team this year — a team that absolutely deserves our support. And it’s a shame that people are apparently going to swear off the entire season because we play Jackson St. and Loyola.

Bob Marlin being the coach is 90% of the reason there will be 500 people in the CD for games

None of the SBC coaches like double headers. That is why the split schedule is a league wide policy. Personally, I think that is a mistake. If the cajun women are at home and the men are on the road at the same time, I will watch the men on ESPN +

The truth is Marlin doesn’t want the women playing before him because they draw more actual butts in the seats than the men. To see the fans of WBB leave before MBB would be too much for his ego to handle.

Man sometimes I can’t believe how naive you are. No one cares!!!! Our fans want Marlin gone!!! How much evidence do you need.
We are absolutely loaded and fans are telling the athletic department to keep their tickets. I’m done.

And if they stay home because they don’t like the coach even though he wins a conference championship… that is also a shame.

That's the problem just 1 in 11 years

What is this conference championship you speak of?

I’m in the same boat about change, but that’s a stretch…men still outdraw the women. The “education” game the women play is an embarrassment. Skip school, come on down and watch bad basketball. 1 NCAA appearance in 50 years.

Maybe Brad can take over the womens program when Gary hangs it up.

Assuming Garry is allowed to finish his contract...and the university would be willing to legally risk overlooking applicant coaches with D1 head coaching experience from protected classes.

2 regular season championships and one tournament championship, but who’s counting?

As a D1 head coach? I listened to the podcast months back. I think the answer is zero if I recall correctly. _____ing on a fan website doesn’t help his cause one bit. I’d love to see Brad at least on the bench as an assistant, but podcasts and posts on his behalf won’t ever make traction. May even hurt.

When did he win a second one?

Maybe he’s counting the sun belt west championship he won his first year.

As an assistant one day, then maybe eventually the Head Coach. I got a few goals in life, one is to Coach the Cajuns again. I do several interviews every year on several media outlets and radio shows to talk about Cajun Basketball. I always show love to the Team and Coaches.
