I also love Jefferson's Ocean. It's expensive ($75-$85). I had football SID Josh Brunner and his girlfriend to the house a couple of weeks ago. Josh and I killed an entire bottle. Replaced it yesterday on my trip to Champagnes.

I gave it a try. I'd drink it again, but not at that price. It is, at best, a $30 bottle in my opinion.
If you're going to spend that much, get a bottle of AE.

Oh yeah! Agree, that guy is the best. Very knowledgeable and friendly.

Has any tried the NuNu’s selected Bayou Rum?
Re: Summer whiskey thread
Do any of you live in the Baton Rouge area. I'm going to be there Tuesday and might want to do a little shopping. Any suggestions on where to go for bourbon selection?

Tried a sample at the store a couple weeks ago. Very smooth. I ended up purchasing a bottle of Bulleit Blenders Select. After tasting the Bayou Rum, I had think twice about not picking up a bottle of it.
I'm a fan of the Bayou Rum Select. I think the Nunu's selected is smoother.

Try a bottle of Sagamore Rye, Total Wine or Speck’s has it. Champagnes was able to get the cognac aged, not my flavor. Also Bulleit Rye handle at Champagnes is $39.00, wont find it cheaper. For higher dollar Colonel Taylor or Willet Rye are solid, James E. Pepper Rye is great at around $35 a 1/5th.
