You're 100% correct. It was an ownership change in '02 or '03, and it pulled a bunch from Keg and Club Pub.
I remember this vividly b/c right when he took ownership it was a game changer. Same fellow who owns that fine establishment on Hwy. 90 for Gentlemen.
Even Lipstick died when the strip did, and it was 20 miles away lol

I am told I went to all those places on a regular basis. Kind of foggy.
Mother’s every Thursday night then pep rallies at the keg I think on Fridays. All I remember is the cheap beer.

I will just go with this. $1 Goldschlager, I still s--t gold flakes at times.
My favorite was the 5$ cover, free draft/free hurricanes 9p-1a at Mako's.

I would go there whenever they had bands in late 90s early 2000s. Most epic night was when Planet Radio had a Chocolate Starfish and Hot Dog Flavored Water contest.

I could not remember where we got the hurricanes for Mardi Gras on the strip but it must have been Mako's.

Brass Rail cheese burgers, grilled onions and great fries. Good sober up breakfast

We’d get to The Keg before 10 PM to get a stamp for re-entry, then head to the McKinley St. Pub for Drinking on Lincoln until midnight. After that, we’d stumble back to The Keg and indulge in some questionable antics until closing time. Probably shaved a few years off my life doing it, but I wouldn’t trade those memories for anything.

Yes sir, here’s a story.
I accidentally ran over the fire hose while the Brass Rail burned. Cop wasn’t happy with me. At least I wasn’t drunk, just in a rush to get my car out of there.
Re: OT: The Keg, Building For Sale
The KEG, Loose Kabosssse, Shannahans, MAKOS!
Wild times to be alive!

I remember the Friday pep rallies at the Keg (I played POA pep band for them) and the party bus to that club on Johnston Street (don't remember the name).
