I agree we need out of this thrash pile conference, but that will not help with this issue. We (the university) either makes a stand or not....regardless of the conference affiliation. We have seen what the stand is. If we cannot defeat ULM in Sun Belt politics.....we will never win this battle, at least these leaders never will.

Must agree with this. We need to remember that is Louisiana politics at work. Too much pushing from Admin could see us get our funding for our master plan tied up in committees delaying our progress even further. I think there is more at stake than just our name here.
