On College Football Live today they did a segment on Arkansas and how they are rebuilding.

They were looking at their schedule and the announcer said "Look at Louisiana-Lafayette. That isnt a gimme game they have a good club coming back."

I cannot wait to go to this game. I've never been to Fayetteville - heard it is a really nice SEC venue and crowd!

I am planning on going to this game also.
From looking on google maps it does not look easy to get to.
Approximately 9 hr drive.

Does anyone know if you can fly directly into Fayetteville?
How is everyone else planning to travel to this game?

You can fly into Fayetteville. Everything goes through Houston but it'd be cheaper to do Lafayette, Houston, then Fayetteville. Around $400 for that route

That's just it. In the past, these games were truly meaningless for us as they really did nothing for us except pay us for going to get killed. Now, I think our talent level and coaching give us a better chance for victory and those games will do much more for us now than they did 5-10 years ago. Simply assuming that we get killed is a bit short sided since Arkansas is transitioning just as much as we are with their offense and schemes due to new coaching.

An injury in one of these past meaningless games was more harmful since you could lose a key guy you would lean on in conference early on in a game we had very little chance of winning. Now, I think we view most, if not all, games we play as potential victories.

This means that, even at home, Vegas has ZERO faith in the hogs shutting us down

My thinking is there is a new sheriff in Hogsville, and Vegas knows he plays old time power football and defense. The line is unsure, but I think similar to a BAMA team. They do not think we will score thirty points on the Hogs, but are not sure how good their defense will be, and how long it will take for them to implement a power football offense.

While the Hoax beat a number eight team, we will face a better team ranked lower, but at the end of the season, the Hogs will be ranked higher than they ended up last year.
